ACTELLIC Gold Dust is a broad spectrum insecticide for use against grain storage pests like the Larger Grain borer (LGB), grain weevil, red flour beetle and lesser grain beetle in maize.

Active ingredient

16 g/kg Pirimiphos-methyl

3.6 g/kg Thiamethoxam.

Pirimiphos-methyl rapidly penetrates the insect cuticle and disrupts nerve conduction via the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase. Thiamethoxam is considered to act by interfering with the nicotic acetylcholine receptor of the nervous system of insects.
